Glen served as the South-East Area Vice Commander for 2002-2003 He has served on the Depart-ment Policy Committee for the past eight years and as Chairman for the past two years. He has served on the National Security Committee and Homeland Defense Council at the National level since 2002.

Glen believes in a strong and united American Legion and will work toward that goal. He wants all legionnaires to work together for the good of our Veterans, the American Legion, and the United States of America.

2011-2012 Department Commander Glen Minor

Glen met his eligibility for membership while serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from October 1970 to June 1975 where he attained the rank of Captain. He served as a Helicopter Pilot fly-ing most helicopter types in the Air Force inventory and flew Super Jolly Green Giant helicopters in the 40th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron (ARRS) at Nakhon Phanom, Thailand.

Glen is a Paid Up For Life (PUFL) member of Post 232 in White Hall, AR and has served in most of-fices at the Post and District Level. He is currently the 1st Vice-Commander of Post 232 and is on the Boys State Committee, Membership & Post Activities Committee, Public Relations & Legislative Committee, Fund Raising Committee and the Founders Day Parade Committee for Post 232.

He has served four-one year terms as 1st and 2nd Vice-Commander and four-one year terms as Commander of the 9th District. Glen is also a Paid-Up-For-Life (PUFL) member of the 40 & 8 where he also served as Chef de Gare for the South Arkansas Voiture 209.
